Peregrine Supply is a Men’s Grooming & Skincare Company seeking employees for our temporary Pop-Up Shop located at The Amazing Brentwood. All of our products are handmade in our warehouse in Burnaby, BC, using 99% synthetic free ingredients. At Peregrine we aim to promote healthy masculinity and healthy well rounded men’s culture.

We are a small but mighty team, so be prepared to jump in and help out your co-workers and feel free to ask for help when you need it! 

We are creating a unique pop up experience with a purpose. We will be part pop up, and part Men’s Health Exhibition. We will be fundraising money to help the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation.

 

The Role: Customer Experience Manager (Full Time or Part Time)

When? 

Temporary Pop-Up Shop

Expected Opening November 1-January 3rd. 

*Must be available to work weekends, and holidays (Ie Boxing Day)

Job Description:

Your Role will be to oversee and supervise associates in our retail shop. You will be responsible for communicating with employees and helping to problem solve. You will be responsible for helping maintain systems, helping to train employees on cash and POS systems, as well as helping with Cash Out. 

You will also assist customers in our retail shop. You’re the first face our customers see when they walk through the door and it’s your job to help everyone feel welcome in our space. You will be responsible for helping customers choose the best product to fit their needs, answering questions, taking payment & handling cash.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the store is neat and tidy. You will ensure the store is well stocked by communicating with our warehouse when we’re running low on stock. You will also help prepare orders for local pick up.

We will be hosting events in the shop too, so each day may feel slightly different. This will be a fast-paced learning environment so the ability to keep calm in new situations is extremely beneficial. You must be able to problem solve, we understand that you might not have all of the answers to customer questions but you need to know how to look up answers in a timely and efficient manner. 


Wage

$20-22/hr 

 

Qualifications: 

-Must have 2+ years of retail experience

-Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent

-Must be able to work weekends, and holidays (ie boxing day but note we will be closed on Christmas Day)

-Experience Handling Cash and POS systems

-Experience in customer service or retail 

-Strong Interpersonal Skills

-Able to work well alone & With a Team

-Must be able to assist with stocking shelves and merchandising

-Must be able to problem solve independently



Not required but good to have:

-Knowledge of skincare products 

-Experience Working in a Barber Shop or Salon

-Brand Knowledge
