Decyl Glucoside

What is it?

Decyl Glucoside is a mild, non-ionic surfactant. It meets ECO-CERT requirements, and conforms to our Guardian Model for ingredients. 

How is it made?

Decyl Glucoside is produced by the reaction of glucose from corn starch with decyl alcohol which is derived from coconut. The production methods for Decyl Glucoside meet our requirements set out in our Guardian Model, and respect human, animal and environmental health and sustainability.

Why use it?

Decyl Glucoside is a wonderful addition to our formulations as it is easily biodegradable, environmentally friendly and compatible with all other surfactants that we use. Our Decyl Glucoside is also preservative-free and does not contain any impurities. Decyl Glucoside  is wonderfully mild and does not irritate sensitive skin, making it a great addition to our products
