Jojoba Oil

What is it?

Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax, derived from the Simmondsia Chinesis plant, a type of flowering bush.

How is it made?

The oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant. The oil makes up 50% of each seed by volume.

Why use it?

Jojoba oil is excellent for treating dry, chapped or inflamed skin. Jojoba oil is very similar to the skin's natural sebum, so it moisturizes effectively without any heavy or greasy feeling on the skin. Jojoba oil has also been seen to treat acne and other types of inflamed lesions on the skin, making it a great choice for normalizing problem skin.
